Firefighters freed two large cows unharmed after a cattle trailer tipped over on the Burnham Bends.
The cattle trailer flipped onto on its roof after the collision on the Burnham Road B1010 near Wrekin Farm near, Althorne.
No people were injured in the incident.
Essex Fire Brigade was contacted at 08:51 and one crew from South Woodham, one crew from Great Baddow, and the Great Baddow Animal Rescue Unit were in attendance.
The RSPCA were also in attendance.
