THE stabbing of a woman in Westcliff has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission as it was revealed the force already knew she had domestic problems.
The 26-year-old woman sustained the injuries inside a house on Park Street, Westcliff, shortly before 9:30am on Thursday, February 13.
She was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
