FIREFIGHTERS were called to a smoke logged kitchen that caught alight in Tillingham yesterday.
The house fire in Mill Road began at around 9pm, with fire crews from Burnham and South Woodham Ferrers attending the scene.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus as the kitchen was partially smoke logged and used a thermal image camera to check for any areas of the fire left burning.
The blaze was extinguished by 9:30pm and no casualties were reported.
