A man breathed in toxic smoke last night as Chelmsford firefighters battled a blaze at 'Verde Pizza and Pasta' in Duke Street. The fire saw two fire engines be called at 1.01am.When they arrived, crews said the restaurant was completely smoke logged, and had to wear breathing apparatus. Road closure after crash in Steeple leaves person trapped
