Two people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Woodham Mortimer yesterday.
The crash in Chelmsford Road, was at around 2.30pm yesterday afternoon (Monday, September 22).
Two fire crews from Maldon attended the scene.
One woman was trapped in her vehicle and firefighters used cutting equipment to release her by 3.57pm.
The East of England Ambulance Service Trust was also called to the two-vehicle collision at around 2.39pm.
