Detectives are appealing for information after a charity bag sticking out of the letterbox of a house in Gilders Way, Clacton was set alight this morning (August 30).The incident happened between 1.30am and 1.45am while the occupants, a couple and their teenage child, were asleep upstairs.The fire left a hole in the letterbox and the house was filled with smoke but detectives believe the consequences of the fire could have been much worse.Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives in...
