A man has been airlifted to hospital after cutting his hand on an electric saw in Essex.The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) was called at 10.37am today (July 11) to Barling Road, in Great Wakering.A rapid response vehicle and the Essex Air Ambulance also attended.They treated a man in his 70s who had suffered suspected tendon damage to his hand.He was airlifted to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment.His injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
