A BRAINTREE house left wrecked by lightning strikes and fire damage is so burnt out the family living there have been left homeless.
Two individual bolts of lightning shot down onto the Nottage Crescent home at 1am starting a raging fire which tore through the top floor.
Darren Hobson, who has lived at the address for almost two years, said there were two loud booms before he and his wife witnessed their room light up.
