A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Chelmsford which happened yesterday afternoon.
A 55-year-old man from Chelmsford was arrested late last night on suspicion of GBH. He is being questioned by officers.
The man, who is in his 20s, was stabbed in the upper body following an altercation with five men near a playground between Fifth Avenue and Arun Close in the city. This happened sometime between 2pm and 3pm.
