A pedestrian has been hit by a car in Market Road, Maldon, causing the road to be closed while emergency services attend the scene.The air ambulance and ambulance were called to the incident, which occurred at around 8.23 this morning, and the pedestrian, a male in his 20s, was taken to Broomfield Hospital by ambulance with a fractured elbow and suspected fractured thigh.
