A two-car vehicle collision outside Maldon Fire Station as shut down parts of the A414 at Wycke Hill.
Two people have been injured after a red Ford Fiesta and a yellow Peugeot collided near the Morrisons roundabout.
The road is closed in both directions between the B1018 Limebrook Way (the Morrisons roundabout) and Spital Road.
