Fire crews were called to a part of a pub on fire near Stansted Airport this afternoon.
Firefighters from Great Dunmow and Stansted attended the Four Ashes pub as the external electrics situated under the patio were smouldering at around 2.04pm.
The pub, in Brewers End in Takeley, was evacuated while crews dealt with the incident.
The electricity was isolated, with crews wearing breathing apparatus and having to use one hose reel to tackle the fire, which was extinguished by 3.08pm.
