A WITHAM man will start the new year with an appearance in court after he crashed his car whilst allegedly drunk.
Darren Jenkins, 40, of Humber Road was involved in a crash in Powers Hall End at around 10pm yesterday evening.
He was arrested and later charged with drink driving.
Jenkins will appear in front of Magistrates in Colchester on January 2.
