AN UPSTAIRS bedroom caught fire at a home in Great Baddow last night.
Two fire engines from Chelmsford station were called to a semi-detached house in Loftin Way at 11.08pm.
When they arrived, they found 25 per cent of the bedroom was on fire and the whole of the room was full of smoke.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire at the house, which had been converted for multiple occupancy.
