Firefighters battled to rescue a man in his 60s who had become stuck in mud around 25 metres from the sea wall in Tollesbury.Two crews from Colchester, one from Tollesbury and another from Dovercourt were called the emergency near Woodrolfe Road shortly after 1pm this afternoon (September 19).Crews assisted the coastguard and used specialist rescue line equipment to rescue the man by 1.53pm.
