Police are appealing for witnesses after burglary at Santander bank at intu Lakeside which happened overnight.
We were contacted just after 8.30am this morning with reports the branch at the Thurrock shopping centre had been broken in to via the roof.
The break-in is believed to have happened between 1.35am and 3.50am this morning.
One of the ATMs was broken in to and money removed from elsewhere in the premises. It's believed at this time the amount stolen is a five-figure sum.
