A CAR set alight after a three-vehicle crash near Goldhanger this evening (August 17). The crash on Maldon Road, Maldon, happened around 7.25pm.Crews from Witham and Chelmsford attended the crash, but all casualties had been released before firefighters arrived. Crews had put the fire out by 8.01pm wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet. They also gave first aid to casualties at the scene.
