A man has died following a collision in Birch earlier today (Sunday, July 5).
The 79-year-old pedestrian, who lives locally, was in collision with a tractor trailer as he walked along Birch Street at just before 9am. Sadly he died at the scene.
The John Deere tractor and trailer were travelling towards Wigborough. The trailer became uncoupled from the tractor and was in collision with the man.
