Firefighters freed two people trapped, and who sustained serious injuries, following a two-vehicle crash in Tiptree this afternoon.They were called at 12.34pm to Maldon Road, and send a fire engine from Witham and one from Colchester.Using specialist cutting equipment crews freed the pair by 1.36pm and left them in the care of the ambulance service.An Essex Police spokesman said: "Police are currently at the scene of a serious injury road traffic collision at Maldon Road in Tiptree.
