Chelmsford fire crews were called to an overturned road sweeper in Writtle tonight. A further two fire engines from Brentwood were also called to the A414 at 5.36pm, where the sweeper had been in collision with a car. The four fire crews used specialist cutting equipment to release the person trapped inside.They were left in the care of the ambulance service at 6.34pm.
