The East of England Ambulance Service have revealed some of the most bizarre and inappropriate 999 calls received in 2015, including an over-indulgent eater and an injured squirrel.
Call handlers receives an average of around 2,500 calls a day from across the region, and while most are genuine, the collection of odd enquiries has been published to raise awareness for the service's Right to Call campaign, aimed at using resources in the most efficient way.
