A 200 tonne hay bail stack near Braintree has been alight for over 10 hours.Firefighters were called to a fire which had engulfed the 200 tonne straw stack in Shalford Green at 9.39pm last night (April 20). On arrival the incident commander reported that the straw was completely alight and that the fire was affecting hedgerow and the nearby roadway.Crews brought the fire under control and made sure that it was contained before allowing a controlled burn to take place.As of 7:13am this morning...
