Around 30 firefighters battled a fire at Stansted Airport tonight. The fire, which was in a catering building measuring 40m x 40m on Long Border Road on the airport's perimeter, took around three hours to bring under control. Firefighters used breathing apparatus, two hose reels, six covering jets as well as Chelmsford's aerial ladder platform to fight the blaze.
