Around 25 firefighters are battling a 'well developed' flat fire in Braintree this afternoon.Fire crews were called at 2.18pm to a flat above the Masala restaurant in Station Approach. Crews had to wear breathing apparatus and are using two hose reel jets and one main jet to extinguish the fire. The roof of the flat has collapsed.
