A man was hurt this morning after he was hit by a car in Chelmsford.The man, who was in his 30s, was hit by the silver Peugeot 207 just before 6.30am on Broomfield Road near King Edward VI Grammar School. But while an ambulance was called, the man received only 'slight injuries', according to a police spokeswoman.
