Firefighters were called to a house fire in Bocking yesterday morning.The blaze began at 9.26 and two fire engines from Halstead and one from Braintree rushed to the scene.Crews reported the first floor was heavily smoke logged and firefighters had to used breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.By 10:11am the fire was extinguished and a thermal image camera was used to check for any remaining hotspots.
