FIREFIGHTERS are battling a 1,000 tonne haystack blaze in Coggeshall this evening (November 18).
The blaze started around 4.45pm off Ambridge Road in a haystack about 30 metres by 50 metres and 10 metres tall.
Essex County Fire & Rescue are using two reels and one main jet to tackle the fire and at 6.50pm said the stack was 100 per cent alight.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
