A SCHOOLGIRL has been flown to hospital after being hit by a car whilst crossing Ferrers Road on her pink scooter this morning.The five-year-old was with her father on her way to school when the accident happened at around 8.45am.Rapid response paramedics, an ambulance, police cars and the East of England Air Ambulance rushed to the scene between Hullbridge Road and Inchbonnie Road in South Woodham Ferrers.The youngster suffered a neck injury and was treated at the scene, before being airlifted...
