Two working fire crews have put out a blaze near Chelmsford this morning as fire union members are on strike over government pension proposals. The pair of fire engines rushed to Brooks Brothers timber yard in Twitty Fee, Danbury at 6.34am after an extractor unit was '100 per cent' alight, according to crews at the scene.Two hoses reels were used to put out the fire by 7.15am.
