A lorry driver could face prosecution following an incident in Burnham where a lorry shed its load of straw bales.
Maldon Road was blocked yesterday afternoon (Monday, April 14) whilst police, specialist recovery teams and local farmers cleared the carriageway.
The lorry left the road and went into a ditch just before 2.40pm.
Essex Police's Commercial Vehicle Unit attended the scene.
