A double decker bus has been badly damaged after crashing into a railway bridge close to Chelmsford city centre.
The top of the Regal Bus Ways vehicle was completely torn off as a result of the collision in Duke Street shortly before 4.30pm.

Greater Anglia reported delays of up to ten minutes as a result of the collision but services were running normally by 5pm.
