A Clacton man has pleaded guilty to the murder of his 81-year-old wife.John Chapman, 71 and of Vista Road, admitted murdering his wife Jean at Chelmsford Crown Court today (August 4).Police received a call stating a woman had died inside a property in Vista Road at around 6.10am on June 12.When officers arrived they found Mrs Chapman's body in a bedroom.A post-mortem examination showed she died from severe head injuries.READ MORE: Essex Police launch investigation after Clacton arsonists sets...
