FIREFIGHTERS cut free an elderly couple from their vehicle following a crash at a supermarket this afternoon.Emergency services were called by staff at ASDA, in Chelmer Way, Chelmsford, after the male driver collided with a litter bin in the car park. Fire crews were forced to cut open one of the two cars involved to gain access to the pair.A second man, a pedestrian, was treated at the scene.
