A Chelmsford city centre road was closed in both directions after a man was hit by a car.
Paramedics were called to the junction of Chelmer Valley Road and Rectory Lane at 2.40pm on Monday afternoon (January 9), to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian.
The road remains closed after the patient, a man in his 50s, has been taken to Broomfield Hospital for treatment.
