Firefighters had to cut free a man trapped inside his vehicle after an accident on a rural country lane.Two fire crews from Halstead were called to Russells Road, between Gosfield and Halstead, at 8.37pm yesterday evening (May 2).Crews used specialist cutting equipment to release the trapped male motorist by 9.32pm. The Chronicle understands his vehicle had left the road. The casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service.
